ASTRAL LION
Andromeda Galaxy
In the far reaches of Andromeda, Earth is a distant myth. Ever since the catastrophic destruction of the galactic gate in 5208 AD, humanity scattered across a galaxy like embers, waiting to spark new civilisations. From that isolation from the Milky Way rose dozens of sprawling human civilisations alongside powerful aliens states, all shaped by loss, necessity, and the struggle to impose order in a hostile universe that cares little for weaknesses.
By 16,000 AD, the Andromeda galaxy is defined by an uneasy convergence. Ancient powers like the Drakhuri preach custodial dominion over life, while the once-idealistic Ryphian Star Commonwealth stagnates in hollow egalitarianism. The Kirillian trade networks connects the ends of the galaxy without central authority, even as slaving empires like the Zelvan Dominion thrive in isolation. Across contested regions like the Tyvreki Reach, emerging coalitions brace against the influence of galactic powers.
At the centre of this shifting order stands the Casarian Star Kingdom. This eager hegemon was forged in the brutal Wild Rim, where survival demands discipline, unity, and overwhelming force. Once defined by conquest and existential war, the Starborne Realm now seeks to reshape the galaxy through the Interstellar Council, convening rivals and strangers alike into a fragile diplomatic framework centred on new interstellar law, trade, and diplomacy.
Yet this new convergence is anything but stable. Beneath treaties lie incompatible ideologies, forgotten historical grievances, and competing visions of order. As rising powers mobilise, stagnant empires awaken, and old myths resurface, the galaxy stands at a turning point.
The Astral Lion—once a symbol of survival—now marks a far greater question: can a civilisation born in fire impose unity without repeating the cycles of domination that shaped the past, or will this new age of convergence ignite the next great war?
